Thank you for taking the time to check out my site. All of the composition examples you'll find here have already been used in film - with the exception of the Compilation and Soundscape. Please feel free to listen to as many examples as you like. There are several - and the styles are intentionally varied. You are also welcome to download these examples (you can do this by right-clicking on the link from the composition menu and use the "save target as" function) however they are protected by copyright - which basically means - you need my permission to use them in your production.

As of October 2005 I will have a reel - showcasing my work which I can make available by mail or online. Please do not hesitate to ask.

I've also included a few testimonials from some of the Directors I've worked with - they pretty much say everything I could hope for - so I won't take the time to brag. I would like to tell you that I am committed to every project I agree to work on regardless of budget.

Musically, I aim to create a realistic sound (unless otherwise directed) - meaning, I use real instruments whenever possible or at least - very convincing samples. I have designed a method of combining my own live performance with samples in an effort to create a convincing symphonic string sound. Obviously, it would be ideal to use a real orchestra - but realistically this is prohibitive for most budgets and of course there are times when the combination of synthesized sound and real instruments work together as as well.

I also have the ability to produce up to 7.1 THX surround - so if you are looking for a particular musical effect - this technology is available to you.

A word about working long distance....
Up to this point, I have worked with directors from: Chicago, Toronto, New York, Orlando, San Fransisco, Los Angeles, Mexico and Austrailia and many more throughout Ontario, Canada close to my home base. Every film project I have worked, has been worked long distance. I go to great lengths to make myself consistently available to ensure an open line of communication between myself and those people I work with.

I feel very strongly about this - particularly because I feel that we live in a time where people tend to hide behind their technology which can limit communication. I want to assure you that if I have a question, concern or problem - I do not hesitate to pick up the phone. My goal for every project is to be as efficient or even more efficient than if I were working right next door.
